I’m praising God for a good night sleep!
Yesterday we had the first of two all-day training sessions. The topics were varied and included: learning the camp dance, how to speak with an interpreter, how to share the gospel and your testimony with the Czech students, and Czech history and culture, etc.. The Josiah Venture team did a great job making it interesting, relevant and engaging. Mid-day, we were joined by members of the team from the local church we will be working with and we started focusing on details for our specific camp. Today promises to be much of the same as we “finish up” the preparation and planning for the upcoming week.
Please pray for strength and health for the team. God is stretching us all in different ways: flexibility, food, dancing, continuous social interactions. This combined with jet lag makes for a challenging mix. We are all learning to rely on God in ways as we trust Him to carry us through.
I am off to an early breakfast, followed by an FBC team check-in meeting and second breakfast soon thereafter. Thank you for following along with us. We are thankful for your love and support.
