We believe children are a precious gift from God and an important part of His family today. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them” (Matthew 19:14) and we invite you to do the same – bring your children to church. Our desire is to partner with families in helping children know Christ, understand His Word, and grow into lifelong disciples.
The Children’s Ministry at Family Bible Church is divided into three age groups on Sunday mornings: ALL STARS (Infants – Kindergarten), MAJORS (1st–3rd Grade), and HOT SHOTS (4th–6th Grade).
At 9:00am, we offer Sunday School classes for all ages. During our 10:30am Worship Service, nursery and childcare are available for children ages infants through 5 years old. Children are always welcome to remain in the service and sit with their families as well.
During the main Worship Service there is a special Children’s Message given by Pastor “Drew” (Andrew Carson) that is tailored for children that ties in with the main message. During the Children’s Message, the children are invited up front to sit on the steps. If your child needs help listening feel free to join them.
Our Nursery and Preschool Ministry is available during both Sunday School and Worship Service with two classrooms for our youngest children. Babies under age 2 are lovingly cared for in our Littles Class (Room 4), where they receive attentive care in a nurturing environment. Children ages 2–5 meet in the adjoining Big Kids Class (Room 3) for fun activities, games, and engaging Bible stories designed just for them.
MAJORS is a high-energy class where kids in 1st – 3rd grade discover God’s truth through Bible lessons, games, and other activities. We want every child to know Jesus, grow in faith, and love coming to church each week.
HOT SHOTS is a dynamic class for 4th – 6th graders focused on growing deeper in faith, building friendships, and learning how to live for Christ in everyday life. It’s a place where preteens can belong, grow, and have fun.
Stands for: Beyond Our Outstanding Sunday Teaching. We typically meet on the third Thursday of the month during the school year as a time for the families of Kindergarten – 6th graders join together for Bible teaching, sharing memory verses, games and music. See the calendar for specific dates and times.
