Today’s lesson wraps up the intro sections of “The Faith Dare” and helps us see the value of trials that test our faith. Thank you for wanting to continue deepening your walk and growing your faith. Praying you’re encouraged today.

God wants us to come to Him in prayer. As we learn in Jeremiah 33:3 we see God says to call to Him and He will answer… even if the answer isn’t what or how we hoped or expected it to be. He knows what is best and will answer in His way and time. Don’t stop praying or believing – God is at work!

Today the lesson is all about “Mind Management.” So let’s swat lies and wrong thoughts with the truth of God’s Word and think on things that bring God glory! Happy Friday – Let’s focus and fix our thoughts on God!

Happy Monday, ladies! Today’s lesson is a great reminder that we are called to daily surrender our lives… deny our SELF so we can follow Jesus! Let’s live a different life than what the world says. No longer living for self, but instead for Christ who died for us. Galatians 2:20 “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me…”

Precious ladies, let God’s love pour out over you today as you realize you are fearfully and wonderfully made. And rejoice in the blessing that if you’ve accepted Jesus as Lord of your life, you are a daughter of the King!

God uses all kinds of things to grow us. He ultimately wants to bring His beauty into our lives through the process of changing us to be more like Him.

We’re not enough in and of ourselves, but because of Jesus, God makes us enough – He is our confidence! He created us to live for Him. Our response should be of a humble heart, standing in awe of God and letting Him be our strength. Philippians 4:13 (NLT) “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”

God is the only one who can complete us! No other person, thing, experience, success, etc. can fulfill or complete us the way God does. We have choices everyday. What are you choosing to do today that honors God with your time, attitudes, expectations, actions, etc.? Let’s choose today to serve the Lord with joy! Let’s choose to press on, persevere, and praise through all the ups and downs.

In Christ we are NEW! We are not defined by the mirror or the outward appearance, but by what’s on the inside. God looks at our heart so let’s be changed from the inside out. 1 Samuel 16:7b (NIV) “…The Lord does not look at the things people look at. It’s easy to be in a funk when our focus is off. We need to get our eyes back on Jesus. Let’s fix our focus on Him and let the things of this world fade away as we seek our Savior today.

Good news, ladies! We don’t have to live under the circumstances, instead we are called to find victory over and through them. We have victory in Christ and we just need to lift our gaze towards Him, persevere, and sing with joy as we become overcomers!

We have so much to be thankful for and the simple act of giving thanks can change your whole day. Don’t let your own attitude steal the inexpressible and glorious JOY Jesus intended for you to be filled with (1 Peter 1:8). Let’s experience the sweet blessing of overflowing with thanksgiving today.

Hope you’re encouraged with today’s song as it talks about pouring out thankfulness and letting it overflow as a result of being redeemed! “Let the Redeemed” (by Josh Baldwin).

The greatest commandment is to love God and others. Today’s dare is to love well. Let’s keep ourselves in God’s love and put into practice the important commandment of really loving Him and others well.

A quote by Corrie ten Boom goes like this: “Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door of resentment and the handcuffs of hatred.” We’ll be learning more about forgiveness in today’s lesson. Find freedom as we look at Dare 22 and let go of bitterness by choosing to forgive.

Everyday we have a choice to celebrate or criticize others. God calls us to stop being fault-finders, and instead to look for the good and see others through His eyes.

What does it mean to really listen, engage, and connect with others? That’s what today’s lesson is all about! We’re called to the make the most of every moment we have with others. Let’s seek to “practice the presence of people” as we embark on dare #24.

This song is a prayer asking God to help us not miss what matters today, in this moment – “Keep Me in the Moment” by Jeremy Camp.

What we say matters. Our words can either build up or tear down. Today we look at the power of words and the importance of choosing wisely what we say. Let’s choose words that bring life, truth, and point to Jesus!

“‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’ So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” (1 Peter 5:5b-6 NLT) We daily need God’s grace. Let’s walk humbly with Him and learn to give His grace to others.

For the days we mess up, we need to humble ourselves and seek God’s face. Hope this song encourages you to walk in the power of God’s daily sufficient grace – “Grace” (by Laura Story).

Guess what ladies, today’s dare is all about kindness. God calls us to love others and pour out kindness and goodness in practical ways to them. Let’s be on the lookout to give kindness today… and always!

Faith is seen by our actions. We can be the hands of Jesus by showing kindness, being love, finding ways to reach out and encourage others. Hope this encourages you to step out and be more like Jesus today! – “Less Like Me” (by Zach Williams).

Today’s dare is a reminder that we need to live unselfishly and seek to love, encourage, and put others before ourselves.
How can you encourage others today? Who are the people God has placed in your life that you need to intentionally encourage?

Are you pointing to Jesus in your daily life and showing His love to others? After today’s video, take a listen to the linked song and be encouraged to – “Live Like That” (by Sidewalk Prophets).

Contentment is key in our faith walk with Jesus. We have the choice every day to be content or not. It’s a learned attitude. Let’s choose today to practice contentment by letting go of our “if only’s,” by counting our blessings, by fixing our thoughts on what is true and praiseworthy, and by having a right relationship with God.

Today’s song choice fits with contentment, because ultimately Jesus is all we need, in good times and bad. Rest content today in the arms of Jesus and let Him be all you need – “All I Need” (by Bethany Dillon).

Making the first move to apologize or seek reconciliation or humble ourselves, or serve and encourage someone else is not always easy, but it’s God’s way – and it’s what the last day from The Faith Dare is all about. You can be the one to change the tone of the situation by stepping out and making the first move towards peace and harmony. So let’s walk in obedience to what God’s calling us to do today.

Ultimately this whole 30 day faith dare has really been a journey to surrender. This song is a song of surrendering all to Jesus. Instead of holding so tightly to your plans with clenched fists, will you surrender today with open hands to the Lord? “Open Hands” (by Laura Story).

Worry steals our joy and makes us miserable, but trusting God brings hope, joy, and peace. What worries do you need to surrender today at the feet of Jesus and replace with trust? “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…” Proverbs 3:5

This song is a great reminder that we need to meet with God every morning, stop worrying and leave whatever is troubling you in His hands. Be encouraged and enjoy – “In His Hands” (by Unspoken).

Are you fearful? God says over and over in the Bible to “fear not…do not be afraid…” How do we do that? We need to look to Jesus, lay our worries and fears down at His feet and really trust and walk by FAITH! He is with us. He’s in control. He loves us.

Let this song become your anthem to walk by faith, trusting God and choosing to lay down your fear and anxieties- “I Will Fear No More” (by The Afters).

God’s peace is amazing and far exceeds anything we can imagine or understand (Philippians 4:7). If you need peace today, no matter what the issue, humble yourself, seek God, pray with thanksgiving, and fix your eyes and on Him. He promises to give you His perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).

Today’s song talks about God’s perfect peace. Listen and be encouraged – “Perfect Peace” (by Laura Story).

Do you want to experience God’s power and victory and strength, but feel stuck in a continual bad pattern? Then there may be a stronghold of sin in your life that needs to be identified and surrendered to Jesus today! Find freedom when you surrender it all to God and ask Him to help you defeat the sin that has a strong grip on your life. Hebrews 12:1b-2a (NLT) “let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus…”

The bridge of today’s song describes several things God does, one of them says a “stronghold breaker.” Wow! Let’s wait upon the Lord, be renewed in Him, and soar like eagles with new strength. Listen and be encouraged – “Soar” (by Meredith Andrews).
