What an amazing day at camp. Today we started our first day of English Lessons as well as had an afternoon water day. After dinner Pastor Andrew gave his gospel presentation about “I am the light of the world”, we had discussion groups afterward, then an evening competition. For the team members I have spoken to, the discussion groups were very lively with good student participation and thoughtful questions. Let me give you an example of what was going on in mine.
The question was raised “what does it mean to follow Jesus”. I’m not quite sure how we got to where we ended up, but the questions that followed covered topics like “how do you share the Gospel”, “Biblical roles of men and women”, and ‘how do you know know you can trust the Bible”. As a result, we are rethinking our entire approach to this class in future days so that we can cover these, and other important questions.
