Today began with a worship service at the CB church in Český Těšín. It was fitting that the last meeting that the combined camp team had would be worshiping our shared Lord and Savior: Jesus. After the church service, we had lunch in the youth room, then headed to the train station to bid the short-term mission team farewell. Jessica and Sophie will be spending time with the missionary that their family supports, and the other 6 returned to Prague, with a return trip to the USA scheduled on Tuesday.
The rest of us went to our flat in Český Těšín, where we watched the Family Bible Church worship service. We will be returning home in about two weeks. Between now and then, we have additional ministry work to complete. This will be the subject of future blogs.
As the “Real Life” portion of our trip comes to a close, I am thankful for your prayers as well as the goodness and grace of our God. I will take tomorrow to regroup and will be continuing blogs under the title of “Extended Life” for the remainder of our trip.
Prayer Requests:
- Safe travels for the 8 mission team members that are returning to the United States.
- Health for the interns and the Sandy family during their extended stays in the Czech Republic.
- Blessing on the Czech leaders that God continues His work in the lives of those He touched at English Camp and the follow-ups.
