Today I’m writing to you from a quiet hotel room in Prague. The city lights are glowing outside my window, and the soft hum of the cars below is a reminder that this beautiful city never really sleeps. I joined the soon‑returning team members on the four‑hour train ride from Český Těšín — a ride filled with tired smiles, shared stories, and the gentle sadness that comes at the end of a week of deep ministry.
Tomorrow morning we’ll gather for our debrief meeting, and afterward we’ll spend a the day exploring Prague together. But today was full of emotion. There were many tearful farewells — the kind that only happen when people have truly loved one another well. Before those goodbyes, I had the privilege of preaching again in Český Těšín.
I’ve included a link to the recording of the service (audio only) The first few minutes are me speaking broken Czech — but spoken from the heart — expressing gratitude on behalf of my family, our team, and Family Bible Church for the warm hospitality we always receive. Their kindness is something we feel every time we return.

- Beginning faith: Our righteousness — our right standing before God — comes through faith in Jesus’ sacrifice on our behalf.
- Continuing faith: Our spiritual life is sustained by Jesus’ ongoing faithfulness.
- Persevering faith: We trust God and run with endurance, fixing our eyes on Jesus at the finish line.
Please pray for a refreshing day tomorrow as the returning team rests and enjoys Prague together. And please pray for Jamie, who is not feeling 100%.
